We, at The Late Narayan Meghaji Lokhande Maharshtra Institute of Labour Studies (LNML MILS) for more than 70 years have been playing a crucial role in the field of Welfare and Management education in Maharashtra.

LNML MILS have been the preferred destination for aspiring talents in the field of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. It has a strong foundation in labour laws, Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management.

The course has been structured as a two-year full-time program. It gives a platform for students to transform themselves to creative HR leaders who can lead organizations in challenging times. LNML MILS have produced many illustrious alumni, whose contributions at state and national levels have been significant- especially in the area of Human Resource Management.

Our students are exposed to various challenging research based assignments and also develops a practical perspective of industry through Concurrent and Summer Internship programs and Industrial visits. It also provides the perspective of administration through the visits of Industrial and Labour Court, Office of Labour Commissioner, Labour Welfare Commissioner and BMC. LNML MILS provides perspective through placement in trade unions. Besides, the students also get an opportunity to gain insights of business from some of the leaders of today’s corporate world through the Guest Lecture series and seminars organized in the institute.

The pedagogy at our institute has been focusing on developing managers who ascertain to be a right fit in the fast changing business environment, which has been influenced by rising volatility, uncertainty, and complexity.
